Primary Function: Oversee the daily front line retail operations at the branch. Provide quality customer service by telephone or in person to existing and prospective customers. Research and resolve customer requests in an efficient manner. Identify customer needs, cross-sell bank products and make referrals to appropriate personnel. Provides leadership to the Universal Banker team within the branch.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Trains, schedules, assigns work to, and reviews job performance of staff. Conduct regular meetings to keep staff informed and resolve problems. Also responsible for branch staff timecard approval and exceptions.
- Responsible for overseeing Fed shipping and ordering and coin machine functions as applicable
- Is responsible for the general appearance, maintenance and safety of the branch and ensures that all security policies and procedures are followed. Reporting to appropriate bank officer with any branch issues, concerns or improvements
- Responsible for branches after-hours emergency power outage, alarms or bad weather conditions.
- Mark overdrafts for the branch and monitors any charge offs
- Responsible for the branch budget
- Provide a complete range of customer services, including opening new accounts, explaining available financial institution products and services, and gathering customer information to process new and existing accounts. Maintain knowledge of documents required for all new and existing accounts.
- Provide telephone support and assist customers with any, and all banking needs as necessary. Serve as a notary to notarize documents as needed.
- Balance cash drawers, recyclers, ATM, etc.
- Adhere to bank policies regarding branch cash limits, vault and UB cash drawers completing quarterly and monthly audits as required
- Maintains knowledge of bank products and services and is able cross sell.
- Interviews loan applicants and explain the different financing options and programs available. Able to make small loans including checkmate loans
- Assist with unauthorized ATM and Debit card activity and unauthorized ACHs and RCCS
- Assist Universal Bankers during regularly scheduled work hours
- Comply with all laws, regulations, bank policies and procedures, including specifically Citizens National Bank’s Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Policy and procedures, and its Customer Identification Program.
- Maintain regular consistent attendance, personal appearance, punctuality and adherence to applicable health and safety procedures.
- Establish and maintain efficient working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and customers
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years Universal Banker experience or equivalent banking experience
- Knowledge of banking laws and regulations
- Good understanding of financial products and services
