Primary Function: Responsible for overall loan operations management and oversight of the mortgage, and consumer, loan operations staff. Responsible for ensuring the department meets organizational goals. This includes processing, servicing, accounting, reporting, and customer service. Will design and administer systems processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing, closing and servicing Loan Operations Manager will work in conjunction with Bank’s Senior Loan Officer and Chief Credit Officer to ensure loan operations is meeting the needs of the Bank. Communicates with bank department managers/officers to promote efficient and correct work flow, establish positive working relationships across the organization.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Research, recommend, implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and demonstrate proficiency with loan origination(s), documentation(s), and customer resource management software application(s).
- Work with loan origination system provider(s) to utilize applications to fullest capacity, streamlining processes and procedures, ensuring accuracy, and compliance. Analyze, prepare, train for periodic updates to system software, and verify that enhancements are working correctly. Assist with system parameters and design to meet the needs of multiple departments. Manage user security access for all groups.
- Supervise all aspects of the loan operations (portfolio and sold) including but not limited to processing, underwriting, closing, and post-closing. Supervision includes posting of payment, payoffs, construction draw requests, balancing, disbursing loan funds, purchase of investor contracts, and maintenance of the final loan documents and core system data.
- Adhere to all State and Federal Banking Regulations. Review and when necessary research new regulations, policies, and procedures to determine their impact on Bank. Stay current on compliance and regulations by attending seminars and reading available information. Ensure necessary changes or recommendations have been implemented as directed by the regulators and investors.
- Develop and maintain Bank relationships with investors, third party vendors, external auditors and regulators to ensure good standing and operation.
- Purchase investor contracts for mortgages delivered to the secondary market.
- Responsible for timely preparation of various mortgage performance analytics for management and board of directors’ presentation.

- Manage, train, schedule, assign work to, and review job performance and make recommendations with regard to staff hiring and salary changes.
- Conduct regular meetings to keep staff informed of any changes which may affect their ability to perform their duties.
- Address internal and external customer complaints, and resolve problems as they arise.
- Provide, document, and test business continuity plan for loan operations. Cross train operations staff across processes as appropriate.
- Develop and implement assessments to ensure department procedures are achieving accurate and desired results.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, bank policies and procedures, including specifically Citizens National Bank’s Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Policy and procedures, and its Customer Identification Program.
- Maintain consistent attendance, personal appearance, punctuality and adherence to applicable health and safety procedures.
- Establish and maintain efficient working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and customers.
- Manage audit requests from secondary market and other business partners.
- Perform other related work and duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- High School graduate or equivalent required; college degree in business related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in loan operations/administration is required; management experience required.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, management, communication (both written and oral), analytical, and problem-solving skills
