McKinley Joins CNB05-Sep-2013
Thomas A. McKinley has been hired as a vice president of commercial loans of Citizens National Bank. In making the announcement Susan Eno, president & CEO said “Mr. McKinley comes to us with over thirty years of banking experience and very strong CNB ties. We are extremely pleased that he is working for us now.”
Tom was born and raised in Cheboygan and worked for Citizens National Bank while still in high school and for a brief period after graduation until he moved to Florida. While living in Florida Tom earned his Bachelor’s of Business Degree from Stetson University in Deland, Florida majoring in finance. He worked in banks in Florida before returning to northern Michigan in 2003 to work for Independent Bank (now Chemical Bank) in Gaylord.
Tom’s primary responsibility at the new Gaylord loan production location will be development of commercial relationships, although a full-range of both consumer and commercial loan products will be offered at that location. He will split his time between the Gaylord office to be located in the heart of downtown Gaylord on the corner of Main and Otsego, formerly Main Street Shoes, and the main office in Cheboygan. A fall 2013 opening is planned for the Gaylord office.
