Cheboygan: Changes are taking place at the Mackinaw City Branch of Citizens National Bank.
Long-time branch manager Sue Brandt will be retiring in the fall of this year after a 47 year career with Citizens National. Sue started with CNB in 1965 as a teller at the main office until she moved to the Mackinaw City branch in 1990 where she was then promoted to branch manager in 1992. After 47 years with the bank, Sue has decided that it is time to retire and is currently working part-time at the main office. While serving as branch manager Sue was an active member and served on the board of directors of the Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce. The bank will host an open house in Sue’s honor in the spring at the Mackinaw City branch.
Taking over the day to day operations of the Mackinaw City branch is long time employee Debby Closs. Debby has been with CNB since 1986 and has been a teller at the Mackinaw City branch since she was hired. She has recently been promoted to Branch Operations Supervisor and will continue at the same branch. Debby has been involved with the Mackinaw City Sports Boosters and is a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She was born and raised in Mackinaw City and it is where she and her husband Lynn are raising their three children, Chase, Trevor and Chelsey.
In making the announcements, president and CEO Sue Eno said “Sue Brandt has enjoyed a long and successful career with Citizens National Bank and Debby is a perfect fit as supervisor for the Mackinaw City branch”.
